Maybe you've learned that getting close to people feels dangerous. Or that trusting your own needs is somehow selfish. Perhaps you're rebuilding after leaving a high-control group or manipulative relationship, wondering if you'll ever feel like yourself again. Or you're in a relationship you want to save, but the old patterns keep winning.
Here's what I know: whether trauma came from childhood, a controlling partner, or years in a cult or high-demand religious group, it doesn't just live in your memories—it lives in your nervous system. It shows up in how you relate to yourself and others, in the hypervigilance that won't let you rest, in patterns you can't seem to break even when you understand them perfectly.
My work integrates attachment-based therapy with specialized trauma treatment—EMDR for PTSD and complex trauma, Gottman Method for couples navigating betrayal or rebuilding trust, and focused recovery work for survivors of coercive control. I have particular expertise helping people reclaim their autonomy after cult involvement, high-control religious environments, and psychologically manipulative relationships where your reality was systematically distorted.
Through the Soul Unity Therapeutic Framework, we address both the neuroscience of what happened and the deeper questions about identity and self-trust that get fractured by these experiences. This isn't about me fixing you. It's about creating space where the parts of you that learned to hide can finally come out, be seen, and discover they were always whole.
Whether you're processing trauma alone or working to heal your relationship together, you don't have to carry this anymore. Healing happens in connection—and that includes the relationship we build here.
